What are 'Collection layout settings' in Banner Placeholders?

The collection layout settings within the banner placeholder feature allows dashboard users to adjust the layout of the collection page on the dashboard to mirror the front-end layout.

The settings you can adjust include:

  • Product per row: Select the number of products per row on the Tagalys dashboard to match your front-end.
  • Product per page: Similarly, select the products per page to match your front-end.

  • Looks handling: If your preference is to keep dynamic looks together despite a placeholder being created in its position, turn the 'Keep dynamic Looks together' toggle on. 


    • For example, in the below screenshot, there is a dynamic look in positions 3 and 4. 

    • When a banner placeholder is inserted in position 4 (between the look), and the 'Keep dynamic Looks together' toggle is 'OFF', the placeholder will assume the position in between the look as seen below:

    • Turning the toggle 'ON' ensures that the products within the look remain adjacent to each other.
