Bulk Pin Products Using Product IDs or SKUs

Overview: The Bulk Pinning by Product ID/SKU feature allows you to quickly pin large numbers of products within a collection without manually selecting each item.

In this example, we will pin 100 products using Product IDs.

Steps to bulk pin products using the Product ID/ SKU option

Step 1: Open the Collection's Curate Panel

Navigate to the collection where you would like to bulk pin products and open the Curate Panel.

 

 Step 2: Open the Bulk Pin Tool

Click the Pin Product IDs/SKUs icon located at the top of the Curate Panel. 

Step 3: Add Product IDs or SKUs

Select whether you would like to pin products using:

• Product IDs, or
• SKUs

Enter one Product ID or SKU per line.

For this example, we are pinning 100 products using Product IDs.

Step 4: Configure Validation Options

Before pinning, choose one of the available validation options: 

• Ignore Missing Product IDs: Enable Ignore Missing Product IDs if you want the pinning process to continue even when some Product IDs cannot be found.
  Best for: Pinning large product lists where occasional missing IDs are expected.
  

• Only Pin Products Within This Collection: Enable Only Pin Products Within This Collection to ensure that only products already present in the collection are pinned.
  Best for: Avoiding pinning failures caused by products that are not included in the collection.

 For this example, we will use ‘Only Pin Products Within This Collection’. 

Step 5: Select the Pin Position

Choose the position where the products should be inserted.

You can also determine how the newly pinned products should behave when existing pinned products or Looks already occupy those positions:

• Move up: Pin above existing placements
• Move down: Pin below existing placements

Once configured, click Pin Products

 Step 6: Review Results

The products will be pinned in real time based on the Product IDs or SKUs provided. In this example, all 100 products were successfully pinned to the collection as they also met the pin conditions.
