Use case: A/B Test Static vs. Dynamic Looks
Click here to know more about the functionality of Looks
How it works:
Create an A/B test for the desired collection, ensuring you have at least two variants: Variant A (for Static Looks) and Variant B (for Dynamic Looks).
Variant A: To enable Static Looks, you must create a look and pin it to a specific position in the collection.
-
In your A/B test setup, navigate to the collection page for Variant A by clicking on the edit icon

-
Go to the Curate panel and select the looks to be pinned by dragging and dropping to the desired position or by selecting the pin to position icon.

-
Save the changes by clicking ‘Done.’

Unpinning Looks:
If a look was previously created as a pinned look, it can be made dynamic by unpinning it.
- Navigate to the Looks section within the collection.
- Select the desired look(s).
- Click the bulk action to Unpin the look. The look will automatically move as a dynamic look.

Click the bulk action to Unpin the look. The look will automatically move as a dynamic look.
Variant B: To enable Dynamic Looks, you create a look and allow it to move according to the collection's configured sort order.
- In your A/B test setup, navigate to the collection page for Variant B.

- While creating the look within the collection, click on the dynamic option to keep the look based on the collection’s sort order or unpin an existing enabled look to make it dynamic.

- Save the changes by clicking ‘Done.’

By comparing static (pinned) looks against dynamic looks, the user can determine which product position drives higher engagement for these looks.
