# Can we create subcategories in Tagalys Dashboard for Magento Platform?

Currently, creating subcategories options is unavailable in Tagalys Dashboard. However, you can upgrade to the Tagalys plugin version 2.4.0, where you can create the category anywhere in Magento and can populate products using Tagalys.
