Why do we need to set the time zone based on the store location on the Tagalys dashboard?

The timezone is set on the Tagalys dashboard as soon as the Tagalys app is installed and the dashboard is ready to use.

This is set up because:
  • On Tagalys, the product catalog is synced once every day, and setting the time zone based on the store's location allows us to schedule the sync timings during low-traffic periods of the store's time zone.
  • Setting the right timezone also ensures that all the information regarding date fields on the dashboard is populated based on your timezone and not based on the UTC timezone. For example, date fields in product details like, 'Created at' or 'Published at'.
