# What are 'Recent Searches'?

'Recent Searches' displays the results of the last five searches that were performed by an individual visitor over the past 30 days.

'Recent Searches' are displayed above the ['Pinned and Popular Searches'](https://support.tagalys.com/what-are-pinned-searches?hs_preview=nucsITjl-37959183996&hsLang=en). These 'Search' queries are displayed with a small icon of a clock in front of it.

A maximum of 10 Recent + Popular/Pinned searches displayed to a unique visitor at a time.

'Recent Searches' expire after the cache memory is cleared from the browser. The 'Recent Searches' can also be individually deleted by the user, by clicking on the 'X' button on the right side of the 'Search Suggestions' window.
