What is a URL Prefix?

The URL Prefix is a predefined part of the URL of a category created using Tagalys. It is used to identify and differentiate the categories created on Tagalys from the categories created on Magento, to avoid redundancy in the URL. All categories created on Tagalys will have a standard URL prefix attached to it, followed by the category name. 

In the below screenshot, the URL of the category has the prefix ‘Buy’ followed by the Category name ‘Trousers’.
